    • North Carolina High School Football - Thomasville overwhelms Albemarle

    August 20, 2021: Thomasville, NC 27360

    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC) and the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), observed Thomasville's football squad bounce Albemarle by a count of 50-0.

    The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery Central for a non-league contest on Friday, August 27. Thomasville will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 35-28 non-league loss to West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-1.

    Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 27. Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Colts go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 45-6 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC).
