North Carolina High School Football - East Columbus topped by Wilson Prep

The East Columbus Gators football team (Lake Waccamaw, NC), was beaten 33-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC)

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A East Conference 9 challenge with a 0-1 record.

The Gators now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hobbton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1.

Congratulations to #5 Travon Usher (overall), #3 Jamarius Howard (offensive) and #52 Freddy Padilla (defensive) for being selected the Wilson Prep Academy Football Players of the Game.
