The Brunswick Blue Devils held off the host Avon Lake Shoremen volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wadsworth for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27.
The Shoremen (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Avon (Avon, OH). The Eagles enter the test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Avon held off Northview (Sylvania, OH), 2-0, in a non-league test.
