Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets confront the Shaker Heights Red Raiders (Shaker Heights, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 29. Highland will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

The Bulldogs now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Padua Franciscan for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22. Olmsted Falls will confront a Bruins team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Fairview (Fairview Park, OH). The Bruins record now stands at 2-0.
