Liberty Union Lions (Baltimore, OH) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions face the Bishop Rosecrans Bishops (Zanesville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 22. Liberty Union will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Bishops enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Morgan (McConnelsville, OH).
The Vikings now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakewood for a Licking County challenge on Monday, August 22.
