California High School Volleyball - Providence can't hold off Valencia

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Valencia Vikings volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Providence Pioneers.
The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Campbell Hall was edged by Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pioneers clash with the Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 23. Providence will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA).
