In Saturday's non-league battle, the host North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the South Vermillion Wildcats.
The Chargin' Chargers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Putnam (Roachdale, IN). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, North Putnam nipped Brown County (Nashville, IN), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record.
