Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bleckley County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20. Lanier County will battle a Royals squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Royals record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Bainbridge falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Crisp County (Cordele, GA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Crisp County lost 10-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)
