In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Buford Wolves softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Woodland Wildcats.
Coming up next, the Wolves encounter the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a 7A Region 8 outing, on Thursday, August 25. Buford will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Bears enter the outing with a 4-3 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA).
The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Hurricanes enter the 5A Region 7 outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Cartersville prevailed over Dalton (Dalton, GA), 15-5, in a league outing.
