The Yellow Jackets now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Coffee for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 23. Wayne County will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Telfair County (McRae, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, East Laurens falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Pierce County won 13-0 in their recent non-league match against Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA)
