Nebraska High School Softball - Polk County bounces Raymond Central

August 20, 2022: Stromsburg, NE 68666

Polk County Slammers (Stromsburg, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Slammers now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Sioux City for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20. Polk County will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 18-4 non-league loss to Brownell/Concordia/Mercy/Roncalli (Omaha, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Raymond Central falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. South Sioux City lost 18-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Brownell/Concordia/Mercy/Roncalli (Omaha, NE)
