The Anderson County Bearcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Montgomery County Indians to 0 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bearcats now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethlehem for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 24. Anderson County will meet a Eagles/Banshees team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Eagles/Banshees record now stands at 2-1.
The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Generals enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Lafayette gained a win over Bourbon County (Paris, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
