The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting D'Hanis Cowboys to 1 in the Fighting Owls non-league victory on Saturday.

The Fighting Owls now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fayetteville for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 23. Anderson-Shiro will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 16-0.

The Cowboys (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Ingram Moore was nudged by Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
