The Wylie Pirates volleyball team (Wylie, TX), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX)

The Friars (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wylie East (Wylie, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Wylie East was nudged by Plano (Plano, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 23. Wylie will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX).
