Nevada High School Volleyball - Cheyenne can't hold off Las Vegas

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Las Vegas Wildcats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Cheyenne Desert Shields.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Cimarron-Memorial was edged by Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Desert Shields encounter the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 23. Cheyenne will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record.
