With the win, Dunbar upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX) to face the Chaparrals in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 23. The Chaparrals go into the outing with a record of 2-1.

The Parrots now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Everman for a 5A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, August 23. Poly will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.
