Texas High School Volleyball - East Central over Holmes

The East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, East Central upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Hornets host Harlandale (San Antonio, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 23. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Harlandale won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Providence Catholic (San Antonio, TX)

The Huskies now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Victoria East for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 20. Holmes will play a Titans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Edison (San Antonio, TX). The Titans record now stands at 3-4.
