The Pierce Bears held off the host Eureka Loggers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bears now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gridley for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. Pierce will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Live Oak (Live Oak, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
The Loggers (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA). The Gauchos enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record.
