The Morton Ranch Mavericks volleyball team (Katy, TX), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Goose Creek Memorial Patriots (Baytown, TX)

The Patriots (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Gators enter the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Dickinson nipped La Porte (La Porte, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks encounter the Channelview Falcons (Channelview, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 20. Morton Ranch will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record.
