The Hoover Buccaneers topped the host Lewisburg Patriots volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Buccaneers now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. Hoover will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

The Patriots (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Arab (Arab, AL). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Arab was knocked off by McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
