South Carolina High School Volleyball - James F. Byrnes over Union County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) and the visiting Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), saw James F. Byrnes's volleyball squad beat Union County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, James F. Byrnes upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Rebels host Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC) to play the Sabres in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 20. The Sabres go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Yellowjackets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gaffney for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 23. Union County will play a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.
