The Polytechnic Panthers topped the visiting San Gabriel Matadors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paraclete for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. Polytechnic will confront a Spirits team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, CA). The Spirits record now stands at 1-1.
The Matadors (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Maranatha (Pasadena, CA). The Minutemen enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Maranatha was knocked off by South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
