In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting La Serna Lancers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Walnut Mustangs.
The Lancers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Sunny Hills was nudged by Cypress (Cypress, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Alhambra Moors (Alhambra, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Walnut will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
