In Tuesday's non-league contest, the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) soccer team edged the visiting Christ School Greenies (Arden, NC), by a tally of 1-0.

Next, the Rockets face the Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 23. A.C. Reynolds will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Laney (Wilmington, NC).
