With the triumph, Padua Franciscan advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Rocky River (Rocky River, OH) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league test on Monday, August 26. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Bengals now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilmour Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 22. Benedictine will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Keystone (La Grange, OH). The Lancers record now stands at 2-0.
