The Colquitt County Packers softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Bainbridge Bearcats to 3 in the Packers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Packers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league battle on Friday, August 23. Colquitt County will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 5-2 league loss to River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Bainbridge moves to 1-4 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Monday, August 26. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 7-2. Thomas County Central won 11-0 in their recent league battle against Northside (Warner Robins, GA)
