In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Tift County Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 4-1 win over the Cook Hornets.
The Blue Devils (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Vikings come into the 6A Region 1 match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Lowndes nipped Bacon County (Alma, GA), 6-1, in a non-league match.
