The Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos (Houston, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Stafford Spartans (Stafford, TX), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Rhinos now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Nimitz for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 22. Carnegie Vanguard will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Terry (Rosenberg, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Stafford drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX) to clash with the Sharks in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 22. The Sharks come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Shadow Creek won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Summer Creek (Houston, TX)
