Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) and the visiting Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY), observed Montgomery County's volleyball team top Lexington Christian by a count of 3-1.

The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, East Jessamine was knocked off by Bourbon County (Paris, KY), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 22. Lexington Christian will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Franklin County (Frankfort, KY).
