In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Southcrest Christian volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Loop Longhorns.
The (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Buffaloes come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Forsan was nudged by Alpine (Alpine, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Longhorns play the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 23. Loop will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Owls go into the battle with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bronte (Bronte, TX).
