The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Oakwood was tipped by Windward (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cubs meet the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines (Studio City, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 22. Mayfield will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Los Angeles, CA).
