The Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA) soccer nipped the visiting Ridley Raiders (Folsom, PA), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Villa Maria Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, August 22. Bishop Shanahan will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Great Valley (Malvern, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-0.
The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Cardinal O'Hara was nipped by Penncrest (Media, PA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
