Indiana High School Soccer - Roncalli nudges Greenfield-Central

Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN) and the host Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN), saw Roncalli's soccer squad hold off Greenfield-Central by a count of 3-2.

The Royals (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus East (Columbus, IN). The Olympians enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Columbus East was edged by Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage battle, on Monday, August 25. Greenfield-Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
