Indiana High School Soccer - Whiteland nudges Plainfield

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Whiteland Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Plainfield Quakers.
The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Cathedral edged Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN), 7-0, in a non-league test.
The Quakers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terre Haute North Vigo for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Plainfield will play a Patriots squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Avon (Avon, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.
