The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.

Next, the Red Devils battle the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a contest, on Thursday, August 21. Newton-Conover will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).
