Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) and the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC), saw Southwestern Randolph's soccer squad triumph over Central Davidson by a count of 9-0.
The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Wesleyan Christian Academy notched a victory over West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 5-1, in a non-league match.
The Spartans now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkland for a non-league match on Monday, August 25. Central Davidson will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
