The Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions smashed the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions soccer team by a tally of 6-0 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next, the Flying Lions face the River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 22. Excelsior Classical Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC).
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Firebirds go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Phoenix Academy was overwhelmed by Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 5-0, in a non-league bout.
