The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Richmond Hill won 8-7 in their recent non-league bout against Statesboro (Statesboro, GA)

The Syrupmakers now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Monroe for a 3A Region 1 contest on Thursday, August 21. Cairo will face a Golden Tornadoes squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 2-2.
