The Carrollton Trojans triumphed over the visiting South Paulding Spartans softball squad by a count of 15-10 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Trojans now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlem for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Carrollton will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Evans (Evans, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, South Paulding moves to 2-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA) to meet the Lions in a 5A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Lithia Springs won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA)
