Colorado High School Softball - Vista Ridge bounces Discovery Canyon

The Vista Ridge Wolves softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder to 3 in the Wolves non-league win on Wednesday.

The Wolves now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Canyon for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Vista Ridge will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 24-11 non-league win over Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Discovery Canyon moves to 0-1 on the season. The Thunder travel to Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO) to encounter the Lobos in a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. The Lobos go into the test with a record of 0-1. Rocky Mountain lost 13-10 in their recent non-league test against Horizon (Thornton, CO)
