In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) softball team the host Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO), by a margin of 13-10.

The Bears now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Severance for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Palmer Ridge will encounter a Silver Knights team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Silver Knights record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Pueblo West drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Grandview (Aurora, CO) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 1-0. Grandview won 13-0 in their recent non-league test against Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO)
