In Wednesday's non-league match, the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Greater Charlotte 7A/8A match, on Thursday, August 28. Myers Park will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.

The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies come into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Hough was nudged by Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
