Spectators at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY) and the host Fairdale Bulldogs (Fairdale, KY), witnessed Bethlehem's volleyball team overcome Fairdale by a tally of 3-0.

The Eagles/Banshees (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Holy Cross (Louisville, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Holy Cross was defeated by Providence (Clarksville, IN), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Page for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Fairdale will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Siegel (Murfreesboro, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
