Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA) boosters were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Duarte Falcons (Duarte, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, St. Paul went down by Northview (Covina, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 20. Duarte will face a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Bassett (La Puente, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
