The Powdersville Patriots volleyball squad (Greenville, SC), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC)

With the win, Easley improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Green Wave host Daniel (Central, SC) to encounter the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Patriots now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28.
