Ohio High School Volleyball - Watkins Memorial over New Albany

The Watkins Memorial Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host New Albany Eagles to 1 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zanesville for a Licking County game on Thursday, August 21. Watkins Memorial will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Heath (Heath, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-2.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Thomas Worthington (Worthington, OH). The CARDINALS go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Thomas Worthington was topped by Westerville South (Westerville, OH), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
