California High School Volleyball - Rancho Bernardo over University City

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA) and the host University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), observed Rancho Bernardo's volleyball team top University City by a count of 3-0.

The Broncos (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Scripps Ranch was knocked off by Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Centurions battle the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 26. University City will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Southwest EC (El Centro, CA).
