With the win, Santa Fe Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to face the Mavericks in a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 1-5. La Costa Canyon won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against University City (San Diego, CA)

The Mustangs now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop's for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. San Dieguito Academy will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-2.
