The Swansboro Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host South Lenoir Blue Devils to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Croatan for a Coastal 5A/6A outing on Tuesday, August 26. Swansboro will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, South Lenoir moves to 1-3 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Richlands (Richlands, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-6.
