Indiana High School Volleyball - Westville Whiting

Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Westville Blackhawks (Westville, IN), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Oilers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against River Forest (Hobart, IN). The Ingots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, River Forest went down by Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Blackhawks now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Chicago Central for a non-league test on Monday, August 25. Westville will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to La Porte (La Porte, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-4.
